About this course
Signs are sometimes perceived as an additional extra when it comes to the hardware on a door. As architectural ironmongers we should consider them an essential item for without proper signage a door is incomplete. In fact, as you will see in this section, some signs are mandatory when it comes to fire safety. For the most part a sign is the means of proper communication to anyone using a building.
