Locks and latches is the fifth section of the Foundation module. Although this is a complex subject we will only cover the most common and simple aspects before moving on to how locks and latches are operated by door furniture in section six. Sections five and six fit like a hand in a glove so you may wish to study them together or refer backwards and forward between the two.
